The Oxford Area Recreation Authority is a municipal authority formed by 5-member municipalities: The townships of Elk, East Nottingham, Lower Oxford, and West Nottingham; and Oxford Borough.

These municipalities provide funding for maintenance, but with the rising cost of goods and services, it is often not enough.
